A troublesome topic indeed.

OpenID

OpenID is a disintermediated authentication scheme for the Web aimed at bloggers. It is a good example of a SWISS-style architecture, but it unfortunately fails to use RDF. Also it is authentication sans trust, which seems a bit odd.
