DBin
DBin http://www.dbin.org/
is a disintermediated data sharing
framework that uses RDF as it's native format. Identity is handled by
signing using a Public
Key Infrastructure. Data is shared through syndication and
aggregation, prioritized by common interest groups.
DBin is an ideal data sharing technology. But it's onotology-oriented browser is obviously something only extreme Semantic Web technologists could love. Broad use of DBin will depend on its incorporation into web applications that make RDF and the ontology invisible (apart from tags and user-friendly labels).
